Description
The K2 and K3 types are undoubtedly among the standard freight wagons in Switzerland. Both were built for many years (K2 since 1900, K3 since 1913), and they are available in various versions with different wheelbases, despite having the same main dimensions. The SBB kept the series, some of which were in need of overhaul, in service for a long time, so that the K2 was still in service until the 1980s. The Hobbytrain model is completely redesigned from the ground up and built like a kit, so there are various buffer, door variants and wheel sets to choose from, which allows for a variety of variants through the eras.
