Description
With this small and ingeniously sophisticated module, you can intelligently control your Car System emergency vehicles. You can expect a large application area with many functions. Due to the large voltage range, you can operate the module with only one rechargeable cell as well as with LiPo rechargeable batteries.
Automatic operational trips
For the police forces and fire brigade an everyday situation: Alarm! Immediately take the emergency vehicles on their way to the accident on, blue light and siren are activated. Arriving at the destination, the scene of the accident is secured: hazard warning lights ensure attention, and work lights on the roof illuminate the scene of the accident. As even the hardest use will eventually come to an end soon all lighting options will be disabled in turn. Now only the drive home to the guard follows. Use finished!
The MB2 module also makes such scenarios possible for Car System vehicles. Built into a model, the board works like a brain in the vehicle: All components such as motor, reed contact, speakers and of course the lighting are connected to the module, with a microprocessor on the board regulates the program sequences.
In addition to automatic operations with sound support, smaller details were also realized. When stopping at a stop, the tail lights light up briefly and work as a brake light. Then the vehicle accelerates slowly to maximum speed. Even afterglow when switching off the hazard warning lights is simulated by quickly dimming down the LEDs!
Integrated sensors control the vehicle
With two small magnets under the road surface, the module is able to start duty rides, break them off prematurely or switch the hazard warning lights and work lights on arrival at an accident site. A small but intelligent magnetic field sensor is included for detecting the magnets. This sensor can not only detect magnetic fields, but also knows to distinguish between their polarity (north or south). Thus, the one magnetic pole is used to start the blue light and the sound generator or switch off again when driving over again (false alarm) with the other pole simulating the stop at the place of use: The vehicle stops and turns on the hazard warning lights and the work lights for securing the accident site. After a set period of time, all the lights go out and the vehicle starts to drive slowly. Use finished!
No stop points or control units need to be mounted. The two included magnets are sufficient for realistic use.
Possible LED connections
Up to 20 LEDs can be connected directly to the module:
The following outputs are available:
Two white LEDs for use as headlamps
Six yellow hazard warning lights
Six fast double strokes with their own timing
Two synchronous Triblitzer for the realization of front lights
Four taillights or brake lights
Only for the connection of the work lights external resistors are necessary. An adapter board with suitable resistors for four white LEDs is available as an option.
The module already works from one volt. Thus, in addition to small vehicles and stand models can be operated with a single battery.
Siren or siren?
For sound generation, a small speaker can be connected to the module. The microprocessor generates a sound signal if the blue light is active.
There are two sounds to choose from:
A classic siren, alternating a high and a low tone, is usually active.
If a solder bridge is placed on the back of the board, the module will generate a wahing horn. This option is especially interesting for emergency vehicles from abroad.
