Prototype: German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG), road number 218 499-2 general-purpose locomotive, DB ZugBus Regionalverkehr Alb-Bodensee GmbH (RAB) Ulm. Diesel-hydraulic locomotive with a roof design to match the MTU 12V 956 TB 11 engine. With parallel exhaust scoops and a Behr V-shaped cooling system.

Model: Shape variation, new roof design to correctly represent 218 499-2 with a TB 11 engine and Behr V-shape cooling system. Built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC. Engine with flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. Headlights and taillights that change with the direction of travel, warm white LEDs, driver’s cab lighting, can be controlled digitally. Kinematics for close coupling. The headlights change over with the direction of travel and will work in analog operation. Attached handlebars. The logos “3-Lwen-Takt” and “bwegt” are included. Length over buffers 102 mm.
