Since summer 2023, the DB AG electric locomotive 101 019 has been on the road in a special design! In cooperation with FLEISCHMANN and Fahrtziel Natur, the machine now carries the message of climate-friendly and, above all, car-free tourism on the large side surfaces. In the Fahrtziel Natur cooperation, the major German environmental associations BUND, NABU, VCD and Deutsche Bahn are involved together with national parks, nature parks and biosphere reserves in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. All of these regions can be traveled and discovered by train in a particularly environmentally friendly way. Reason enough for FLEISCHMANN to support this unique cooperation. The Saxon Switzerland National Park in Germany and the Hohe Tauern National Park (Carinthia) in Austria were selected as partners for the special locomotive. The motifs show the impressive landscape of the respective region and make you want to discover it!
