The delicate pantographs and the replica of the roof, which precisely reproduce all the details of the original, are particularly eye-catching. A powerful engine guarantees the problem-free transport of express trains that are true to the original. The model has a Next18 interface and the usual red/white light change. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally. In addition, two wheels in a diagonal arrangement were fitted with traction tires. The PIKO model has excellent running properties and can easily drive through radii down to 192 mm. The model has a suitable PIKO sound decoder.
